Department of Justice a 2nd Trump presidency target

In order to protect himself and other treasonous MAGA heads, Trump is looking to influence the Department of Justice to do his bidding. Trump isn’t hiding the fact that he’s looking to destroy democracy by using the DOJ to go after political opponents. He’s trying to make his name calling more impactful by saying he’ll go after Joe Biden’s family.

Besides petty threats to his political rivals and lying to get ahead, he’s also said he wants to go after the prosecutors that led to him getting a guilty verdict last week. Not only that but he has continued to insinuate violence as well should the Democrats come out ahead in November.

The Trump administration tried to take control of the Department of Justice during its 2016 presidential run. The DoJ however didn’t allow Trump yes men, manipulative threats, and power bribery to take control and turn into something that doesn’t work for Democracy.

Since being convicted last week Trump’s go to move of saying things are unfair are in full display. If it doesn’t work for me, he says, there is something wrong with it in question. Republicans are trying to get this mentality official by saying Trump should have control over federal legal decisions. Those encouraging this are also doing a power play to get influence in the White House should Trump get his 2nd term.

There is a line between those pushing what is a President having complete control over the government, being at the heart of January 6th, chanting “Stop The Steal”, and Steve Bannon’s influence. Bannon hurt Democracy as a whole when he was a senior advisor year prior, and he continues to hurt it now trying to be that same advisor in podcast form as he awaits a possible jail cell.

Steve Bannon makes plea for the Supreme Court to hear him out

Steve Bannon is looking to get the MAGA movement more attention by name dropping the Supreme Court. This happened because he’s facing a prison sentence that is now looking to begin by July 1st. Bannon was found guilty after being charged of contempt of Congress for ignoring a subpoena by the January 6th committee years.

Not only did he call out the Supreme Court, but he said the name Peter Navarro as well. Navarro made history as the only former White House official to go to jail. He also went all the way to the Supreme Court in an effort to protect himself, but it ultimately failed. It’s unsure if Bannon will use the same reasoning if he were to get a hearing, saying that he’d be protected by executive privilege. The attorneys Bannon has hired are saying that he would be hurt by completing his 4 month sentencing before the appeal he plans would be completed.

Bannon was an advisor back during 2016, and was an official advisor for a year before being left go. Since then he’s continued to influence the right to be alt-right via speeches, a podcast, lies about the 2020 election being stolen, and getting a different Speaker of the House in place. Now as he awaits being taken away he is calling out Das to take action and go after Democrats mindlessly, encouraging paranoia among voters.

This alone isn’t Bannon’s only worry due to past mistakes. Back when he was encouraging MAGA supports to build the wall, he was taking the money and putting it in his pocket. Even though Trump gave Bannon a pardon, he was ordered to pay $500,000 last year in New York. Bannon is looking to fight this charge as well and will no doubt ask MAGA for further financial support down the road.

Trump Interview Circuit after Conviction

Since becoming the 1st former President to become a convicted felon he’s been doing interviews making threats and encouraging civil war. He isn’t alone on this, as the Republican party has also been trying to tear the country in two. One of the platforms he’s now running on is turning the DoJ on it’s head, and using the rule of law to go after personal vendettas and Democrats. Prosecutors, President Biden, and any Democrat are in the sights if it would boost Trump’s or the MAGA following’s public image.

Some interviewers have tried to dial Trumps rhetoric back in an attempt to not have civilians look into firearms for the future. In response he talks like a cowboy and says, “revenge can be justified”. These hosts also include big names on Fox such as Sean Hannity. Sean made the same offer, but Trump continued to talk about his plans once he would be back in the white house. The weaponization of Law that Trump complains about means nothing when he himself is now a convicted felon and he want to do the same thing in the future.

When it comes to calling for heads of political opponents, Trump’s history speaks for itself. What also speaks for itself is his inability to follow up on his words The calls of “lock her up” for Hillary Clinton were a staple of his 2016 campaign.  When he was president he didn’t appoint a special prosecutor like he said he would, but let the slogan fall by the way side. And now he’s saying that chant never happened.

After conviction rally in Arizona

Trump is back to using racist rhetoric against migrants as he goes back on the campaign trail after his historic, 1st of 3, court cases comes to a close and he’s now a felon. Rapists, violent criminals, drug pushers, and terrorists are the names given to those who are trying to enter America. Trump was in Arizona pushing these narratives to a MAGA crowd that has no problem looking down on others. Trump said Biden was running a criminal organization with his board wall policies, allowing them in to cause harm.

At the event Trump talked about his guilty verdict that will be repeated throughout the rest of the 2024 election cycle. Keep the fact that he is a felon lowkey, and pushing racism to the forefront as a one-two method to ignore criminality and stoke hatred to get into the White House. The GOP of Arizona are helping him by putting on the ballet a measure making it a state crime to cross into the state from Mexico unlawfully.

Boosting Democratic votes by encouraging immigrants to enter the country and voting was another lie Trump is spreading. Spreading the conspiracy that there’s a coordinated effort with other countries to send prisoners to vote for Biden as well.  He went back to 2020 at the event as well talking about election fraud and 2022 was a problem for him as well, his endorsements failed to get elected too.

Fake Electors Charged for 2020 treason

Three fake electors in Wisconsin were charged with their attempt to overturn the 2020 election by flipping the state red. Wisconsin isn’t the only state where this plan was being made to subvert democracy. It was also being planned out in Michigan, Nevada, Georgia, and Arizona. The two attorneys and the trump aide were charged with conspiracy.

There is talk of more Republicans getting charged for these crimes, and there is talk of Trump being charged as well. Up to six years in prison are what the three face in Wisconsin. During the 2020 election there was an attempt at having recounts in Democratic areas. That was the time to try to toss out absentee ballots. However, Wisconsin’s Supreme Court denied the efforts

On that day a group of Republicans met at the state Capitol building where they lied saying they were the true electors of Wisconsin. Committing treason was also taking place in six other states at the time. The false documents were then sent to Congress stating who they were sent from were legitimate.

One of the Wisconsin insurrectionists was a judge that worked with local Republicans. He coordinated with the other two on how to overturn the state that went to Joe Biden, and that plan took hold in other states at the same time. The treasonous plot involved changing the wording on elector paperwork and trying to get Vice President Mike Pence or the president of the Senate to refuse the electoral vote count. This would it to be pushed back and possibly allow 2020 to go to Trump illegally.

Howler Monkeys dying due to Mexican heat wave

Due to global warming and a constant heat wave in Mexico, over 140 howler monkeys have died. Plummeting to their death, sometimes more than one in unison, the temperature continues to be over 110 degrees. Along with the heat there has been a drought leaving the area with a severe lack of water.

Extended hot periods with a lack of rain has been the problem since the middle of March. Mexico has also been facing deforestation not just from humans cutting trees down but from wildfires. No shelter from the heat, food to eat, and water to drink has taken a toll on the howler monkey population. The howler monkeys and the rainforests work hand in hand in southern Mexico. The fruit they eat puts seeds in their bodies, and their droppings allow trees to grow.

The howler monkey’s significance to the area makes the situation more dire, going as far back as being worshiped by the Mayas. With the current climate situation, illness, and even hunting of them the population is on a steady decline. Mexico’s environmental agency has been said to be lacking in its response to help the howler monkeys. The community is picking up the slack looking to help by providing water and fruit, and sadly picking up those who have died from the heat.

When a howler monkey in need is being taken care of, it is a multiple day ordeal to get them back to health. Those that bring them in take care of multiple ones at a time. They take care of high fevers and injuries, while providing food and water. As the heat continues, so does the care provided by the locals to help get the monkeys back up the trees and into their homes.
